At Mars Hill we're about seeking the one true God in a comfortable, no-frills setting. We want people to come as they are -physically, spiritually and emotionally. It is when we are ourselves that we encounter the relentless love of Christ!

I'm Gregg McCaslin, and I lead the community at Mars Hill. Mars Hill was started in response to a hungering that people had to meet and worship God in real and authentic ways.
We heard for so long from non-Christians and many Christians how the church wasn't speaking to them; that the real world and faith weren't connecting. But that's exactly where God meets and connects with us –in real, everyday, life.
At Mars Hill we feel we are all on a faith journey. It is our hope that we can travel together, learn from each other, and reap the benefits of community, and in so doing, make a difference for God's Kingdom in this world.

A note about our name ~
In ancient Athens, people of the day would go to the Areopagus – Mars Hill – to discuss matters of spirituality and seek truth. It was on Mars Hill that the apostle Paul introduced the Greeks to Jesus, the Jewish-born Messiah, who proclaimed salvation for all people (Acts 17).
Our culture today closely mirrors that of ancient Athens, including the pursuit of spirituality; and Jesus, the Jewish-born Messiah, is still proclaiming salvation for all people. We are all on a Journey together. Welcome to Mars Hill.
