Concordia Lutheran School, which is licensed by the state of Colorado, opened its doors to 18 students in 1985. Since then we’ve grown to 100+ children in three Preschool classes, two morning and two afternoon Pre-Kindergarten classes, a five-day PreKindergarten class, a half-day Transition to Kindergarten class, and a full-day Kindergarten class.
- Morning classes are from 8:30-11:15.
- Afternoon classes are from 12:30-3:15.
- Five-day classes (Pre-Kindergarten and Transition) are from 8:45-11:30.
- Full-day Kindergarten is from 8:45-2.
As an enrichment to our Pre-K curriculum, the Ready-Set-Go program is open to our enrolled Pre-Kindergartners on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 12:30-3:15. A Kids Extended Day (KED) program is available to PreK students on Wednesdays from 11:15-3.
Concordia Lutheran School provides a Christ-centered learning experience. Our dedicated staff helps each child build a positive relationship with God, with others, and with him- or herself. Through our developmentally appropriate curriculum, each child can grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and academically in a secure environment. Students enjoy regular field trips and special children’s programs, as well as holiday celebrations, classroom parties, a potluck social, an evening Christmas program, Preschool Sundays (with songs and art show), and an end-of-the-year family picnic.

To enter Concordia, children must meet the following age requirements by October 1, without exception: 3 years old (Preschool), 4 years old (Pre-Kindergarten), or 5 years old (Transition or Kindergarten). Classes begin the day after Labor Day and finish near the end of May. We try to follow the Jefferson County Public School calendar as closely as possible to accommodate families with older siblings. Parent-Teacher Conferences are held twice a year, but we strongly support open communication throughout the year.
