Concordia is involved in several projects as we take the gospel out into the world. Below is a brief description of some of our efforts:

Our Senior High youth group participates in mission trips every summer helping those in need.

We support Jenae Siebarth in her ministry in Japan. She is partnering with LCMS Mission Senders as she follows Christ into the mission field.

*
We also support Joshua and Jill Felix in New Zealand. They are ministering in the name of Jesus through Campus Crusade for Christ International.

In addition we try to foster efforts directed by Christians native to the area they serve as missionaries. So we contribute funds to a church in Cambodia, to Ysleta Mission in El Paso, TX which helps spread the gospel in nearby Mexico. We “adopted”  a young Kenyan orphan with the help of the LCMS World Mission project “ 1001 Orphans” and local Kenyan churches.

Our youth groups currently sponsor a young girl from Guatemala through World Vision and are actively working on a project to supply fresh water to parts of our world that need this through "Charity: Water."

Our Sunday School students divide collections among charities. Project Angel Heart addresses the critical need for nutrition by providing home-delivered meals to people battling life-threatening illnesses in the Denver metro area. Heifer International works with communities to end hunger and poverty and to care for the earth.

The Missions committee and our Social Ministries board is supportive of local organizations including Jeffco Action Center, Gemini House/Treasure Trunk, and Denver Rescue Mission.
